Client profile and brief
Our client wanted to purchase high end apartment in Central London preferably in South Kensington or Knightsbridge as their daughter is attending reputable school in the area. They was adamant of having South facing first floor property with minimum of two bedrooms and high ceilings. They were looking for a quiet and discreet building on a relatively quiet street for parking and preferable with a long lease.
Scope of work
We identified a large two bedroom apartment that was just coming on the market and was valued significantly below market price and as we acted quickly we were able to secure and exchange within weeks. As apartment was unmodernised our client instructed us further to complete full renovation of the property inclusive of structural changes. We developed and agreed a client brief, hired architectural company and arrange all the necessary permissions. We run a tender among our contractors and builder teams and managed refurbishment project from start to finish inclusive of site daily management, coordination of multiple suppliers and bespoke joiners. We worked on a tight budget and achieved throughout luxurious and functional finish.
The refurbishment project was completed within five months from the purchase moment and our client was happy with their brand new interior designed home. We arranged a valuation from local estate agents and were happy to inform our client that her property was valued to be 50% higher than what it costed them.
